About the event
We bring the 1970 festive classic back to the bug screen. Albert Finney stars as Scrooge in this heartwarming, family friendly live action musical adaptation of Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol, full of infectious songs such as Thank You Very Much. Miserly Ebenezer Scrooge (Albert Finney) is so mean-spirited that he resents giving his clerk Bob Cratchit (David Collings) the day off for Christmas. At night, Scrooge is visited by the ghost of his late partner Jacob Marley (Alec Guinness), who warns him that three spirits will visit him in an attempt to save his soul.
First released in 1970, you won't want to miss this festive classic back on the big screen for one screening only!
